OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER WOMEN TO DISCOVER THEIR IDENTITY, AUTHORITY, AND FREEDOM IN CHRIST
After years of struggling with the call to write, Yasmina Prosser, Founder of The She Laughs Project, finally decided to push past the fear and start writing. Shortly after she started a personal blog, she came across Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future”. Unable to shake the phrase “she laughs", her mind became flooded with the thought that women who trust God with their whole lives can, as a result, laugh at the things to come. After praying, fasting, planning and dreaming for 9 months, The She Laughs Project was born.
We want to see women of all generations, backgrounds, and ethnicities trust and seek the Lord in every area of their life. We also want to equip women in discovering their identity, authority, and freedom in Christ. We believe as women step into these truths, their responses to the difficulties and unknowns of life will become rooted in their confidence of who their God is and who they are in Him.
Yasmina, our Founder, is a vivacious Christ-follower with a passion to share the good news of the gospel through speaking and writing. She has dedicated her life to discipling and equipping women through her business, The She Laughs Project.
Jess is the Editor and Visual Director. She loves surfing, writing poetry, drinking coffee, and studying the Word and soaking up wisdom. Her heart’s cry is to see women understand who they are in Christ and to live in freedom; she hopes to do that through her writing and editing of The She Laughs Project blog.
We reject the idea that we are slaves to fear, to anxiety, to doubt,
and we throw off the chains that encompass us.
We are free.
We have authority as co-heirs with Christ
and daughters of the King.
We do not fear bad news but trust the Lord to care for us.
We are confident and fearless.
We can face our enemies triumphantly.
We walk through this life full of grace, and truth, and love.
We value our sisters and stand together, unified,
regardless of race or color or ethnicity.
We love without borders.
We hope, fiercely and unashamedly.
We do not wander without purpose.
We know who we are because we know Whose we are.
The storms of life may not calm,
and we may walk through uncertain seasons,
but we will not be moved.
Because we are anchored in the One who holds our future.
And we laugh at the days to come.
